2010-11 Fiscal Year Highlights

For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, Arete met or exceeded all first-year objectives for scholarships, fundraising, financial performance, and operational efficiencies.

• Awarded $1.2 million in need-based scholarships to 262 students
• Exceeded first-year scholarship goal by 74%
• Spent 53% below budget on actual operational expenses
• Raised more than $1.5 million from corporate supporters
• 95% of tax credit donations designated for scholarships - or 5% more than required by law
