Arete for Parents

What is Arete Scholars Fund?

What will Arete pay?

Arete scholarships are based on the income guidelines for the federal free and reduced lunch program (FRL) and pay up to $5,800 per year for private school tuition and fees.

As parents, we all share the same basic desire for our children. We hope for a life well lived, full of virtue and excellence. An opportunity to discover and exercise a child's unique gifts and talents to their greatest potential. A chance at an education that helps transform young hopeful minds into accomplished and fulfilled adults. But sadly, for families without financial means those desires frequently give way to despair and a hopelessness that lasts for generations.

Arete Scholars Fund is helping to break the barriers to academic and personal achievement by expanding access to high-quality educational opportunities.

As an initiative of the Georgia Tuition Tax Credit Scholarship Program, Arete provides private K4-12 scholarships exclusively to qualifying low-income students. The scholarships empower those parents who otherwise have no options to select a school that best meets their child's unique gifts, talents, and learning needs.

Scholarships may be used at any eligible and participating private school in Georgia.
