As a second-generation teacher at the school and a mother of three Arete scholars, Jane has seen firsthand how community, faith, and opportunity can shape a child’s future. When financial hardship struck her family, Arete scholarships opened the door for her sons to receive a high-quality education in a nurturing, faith-filled environment. Now, Jane watches with gratitude as her youngest son, Reagan, blossoms both academically and emotionally, right alongside his brothers and under the loving guidance of his grandmother, a longtime teacher at the school.

Known for her compassion and commitment, Mary Helen not only empowers students and families but also finds personal fulfillment in home renovation, camping, and reading, with hopes of becoming an author one day.
